Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

Originally, I started working out CrossFit style as a supplement to my Mixed Martial Arts training. Once I was out of school and had less time to train for fights I transitioned over to weightlifting.

Why did you become a trainer?

I enjoy seeing people become more than they thought they could be, at a faster pace and sustainabilty. Being part of an athletes journey through success and failure are more valuable than any other experience I’ve had and it is the thing I’d prefer to experience most in the future.

My favorite to coach is Jerk or snatch. Favorite to do is Double Unders.

Cheat? Cheat on what?

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

The Punisher. He’s not even super. He’s just a dude who’s upset, has motivation and some time on his hands.

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

I’ve always been interested in how hard I can push myself in sports and recreational training. Crossfit gave me an outlet like no other sport. It’s combination of weightlifting, gymnastics and energy system threshold training holds my attention like no other sport has. With football, hockey and boxing I was only good at that one sport. With Crossfit I am always trying new things.

Why did you become a trainer?

I became a trainer because I saw an opportunity to take a personal passion of mine and turn it into a business. I wanted to share this passion with others and help people in their own goals in fitness. How amazing is it to have the opportunity to push yourself to be better with a group of like minded people!

Heavy snatches, bar muscle ups and handstand push ups

What is your favorite cheat food?

Beer, Pizza and burgers

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Deadpool. He is funny, sarcastic and has no fear. Almost a perfect match to me….except he has no fears.

Pushing my capabilities through athletics has always been a big part of my life. I spent a lot of time split between endurance and strength based sports growing up. CrossFit was a natural progression for me as it was a sport where I could truly practice both, and where both were required to be successful.

Why did you become a trainer?

I saw the positive influence which strength and being strong had in my own life, both inside and outside of the gym. Over time I noticed the pride and satisfaction that came with allowing others to recognize these traits in themselves.
