November 24 COVID Restrictions

Hello Frontier Members

As many of you know, the Government of Alberta has announced a series of revised COVID Restrictions in Alberta; here is how they will affect you.

First, and most importantly, we are still open!

Please be aware that the November 13th restrictions have effectively been extended for a minimum of 3 more weeks.

Capacity & Class

In order to stay compliant, we are unable to host group fitness classes.
We will continue to provide programming to athletes participating in open gym.

If you intend on coming to the gym, even if you are exclusively working on a program that requires you to be upstairs, you need to make a reservation via ZenPlanner.

Please respect your fellow athletes, and CANCEL unused time slots. I have removed the 1 hour minimum notice to cancel a class.

For contact tracing purposes, please check-in using the app when you arrive at FP.

We can not have more than 16 athletes in the facility at any time. Period.

Do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your time slot, and you must leave as soon as you session has concluded.

Masks

Masks are now a requirement, they must be worn at all times, UNLESS you are actively working out.

Handstand & Kettlebell Workshops

These extra programming workshops have been fully cancelled.

Registered participants will receive a refund this week.

We will make an effort to reschedule these important workshops before “The Open”.

Weightlifting Camps

We have rescheduled the beginner and intermediate weightlifting camps to the following dates:

Beginners: Saturday January 9 & Sunday January 10, 2021

Intermediate: Saturday January 16 & Sunday January 17, 2021

Christmas Party

Due to restrictions regarding social gatherings, we are unable to host this event.
We even looked into outdoor events (such as a marshmallow roast), however these also do not fit the COVID restrictions.

We think it is important for our community to host events like this, so we will be looking for options once restrictions start to lift.
